Advancing Mental Health Equity Learning Community – launching 7 October 2026
The National Collaborating Centre for Mental Health (NCCMH) is delighted to announce that we are launching a new Advancing Mental Health Equity (AMHE) Learning Community.
Mental health inequities remain a significant challenge across the UK. Many organisations are working to improve this, but it is a problem that cannot be solved alone.
The AMHE Learning Community will meet regularly, bringing together people committed to advancing fairer mental health services. It is a free national network, offering a supportive space to:
- learn from successful approaches across the UK
- share knowledge and gain ideas and advice from peers and lived experience contributors
- build connections with a diverse range of people across sectors and communities
- influence future topics and priorities for the community
- be part of a community taking action to reduce inequity.
Facilitated by the NCCMH, the community will bring together colleagues from mental health provider organisations, local authority teams, voluntary and community organisations and people with lived experience to exchange knowledge, experience and ideas that move us towards equitable mental health services.
You are invited to the launch of the Advancing Mental Health Equity (AMHE) Learning Community. Everyone is warmly invited to join us, whether you are leading an established programme, supporting local improvement or are simply interested in mental health equity.
