Addictions Credential Lead
- Salary : 1 PA per week
The Royal College of Psychiatrists (RCPsych) is seeking to appoint an Addictions Credential Lead to oversee the development and implementation of the new Addictions Credential, funded by the Office of Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID).
This pivotal role will shape the future of addiction care by driving innovation and excellence in credentialing. The Lead will provide strategic direction, oversee curriculum delivery, and ensure quality assurance across the programme.
Key responsibilities
- Chair the Addictions Credential Working Group and foster collaboration.
- Represent the Credential at College committees and working groups.
- Oversee curriculum design and implementation, recruitment, portfolio assessment, and learning days.
- Support internal quality assurance processes.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and supervise mentors.
- Collaborate with College staff and stakeholders to ensure success.
Applicants should demonstrate:
- Extensive clinical experience in addiction psychiatry.
- Proven leadership and curriculum development expertise.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.

Eligibility: Open to doctors with substantial clinical experience in addiction psychiatry and a demonstrable commitment to service development, education, and leadership.
