Professor Mario Incayawa is based at Runajambi Institute for the Study of Quichua Culture and Health, in Otavalo, Ecuador. Here, he discusses his recently published paper, entitled Efficacy of Quichua healers as psychiatric diagnosticians. His study can be found in the May issue of the British Journal of Psychiatry.
