Event Information
Conference programme and overview
We are excited to welcome you to this year's RCPsych Faculty of Addictions Conference – The Future of Addiction Psychiatry: Hype, Hope and Hard Evidence. We will reflect on the current landscape of addiction services; the progress made in recent years and a focus on what the future of care might look like. We are delighted to welcome speakers such as Dame Carol Black, Professor David Nutt and a presidential address from Dr Lade Smith.
Delegates will have the opportunity to enhance clinical skills through experiential workshops, be updated on the latest research, innovation and national guidelines as well connect with peers and experts. We look forward to seeing you there.
Information about the event
This conference will take place in-person and online. You can select your preferred attendance type when booking. The cost of an in-person and online ticket are the same.

The event will be hosted at the Royal College of Psychiatrists in London.

Joining the event
Participants will receive a link to join the conference in their joining instructions. You will have one unique link to access the whole conference.
Joining instructions will be sent out the day before the conference, to all registered delegates.
On-demand access
All registered delegates will receive access to the conference recordings until Friday 24 July 2026.
You do not need to attend live to receive on-demand access, however you must be registered before the event takes place.
