Scope
Early intervention in Psychosis (EIP) services across England and Wales, inclusive of English data from March 2023 through February 2026 and Welsh data from May 2023 through April 2026.

- Reduce inequalities in access and outcomes
- Improve the quality and completeness of routine data.

This spotlight audit examined physical health care and employment support for people with psychosis in England and Wales under the care of adult community mental health services.
Please note that Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) services and Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) services were excluded from this audit.
The audit focused on:
- Physical health, including physical health problems, family history, screening and interventions. Findings from the physical health topic were shared locally with participating Trusts and Health Boards and were not collated into a national report.
- Employment, focusing on employment status and support.
