Executive Committee
The Committee aims to meet up to four times a year. The maximum term for the elected officers (Chair and Financial Officer) is four years.
All other appointments to the Committee are non-tenured and by invitation, and the Executive welcomes expressions of interest from members who would wish to play an active role in the planning and running of this Special Interest Group.

Honorary Consultant Psychiatrist with Avon and Wiltshire Partnership Mental Health NHS Trust.
Consultant in neurodevelopmental psychiatry at South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and Visiting Professor at the University of Huddersfield.
Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Leicester and Consultant Psychiatrist at the Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust. He works as an epidemiologist on the prevention of depression and on the burden of autism in adulthood and is Chair of the WHO SCAN Advisers, developing a revised SCAN interview that will include neurodevelopmental disorders.

RCPsych Autism Champion
Dr Conor Davidson is a general adult psychiatrist with a special interest in neurodevelopmental disorders and in 2021 was appointed Royal College of Psychiatrists Autism Champion.
After qualifying as a consultant in 2012, Conor worked as a CMHT psychiatrist in York. He was autism lead for Tees, Esk & Wear Valleys Foundation Trust between 2017 and 2020, where his work included rolling out autism training for mental health staff and promoting the use of reasonable adjustments for autistic people accessing mental health services. In 2020 Conor was appointed clinical lead for Leeds Autism Diagnostic Service.
Finance Officer
Dr Raja Mukherjee is a Consultant Psychiatrist in the Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and the Academic Secretary for the Neurodevelopmental SIG. The role is to put together the conferences and drive the educational direction of the SIG with the input of the Executive and members.
Previous Chair
A developmental psychiatrist in Newcastle upon Tyne who has specialised in Autism. He has been closely linked with the development of the faculties of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Intellectual Disability Psychiatry.
Associate Professor of Psychiatry in the Department of Population Health Sciences, University of Leicester, and Honorary Consultant Psychiatrist in the Adult Learning Disability Service, Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust. He is Academic Secretary for the Neurodevelopmental Psychiatry Special Interest Group. His research interests include psychiatric epidemiology and neurodevelopmental conditions.

Dr Dheeraj Chaudhary is a Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist working for Priory Healthcare. He has a longstanding interest in Neurodevelopmental disorders. He runs a private Neurodevelopmental Psychiatry clinic. He is dedicated to raising awareness about Neurodevelopmental disorders among the general public and health professionals. He achieves this through presentations, talks, and leveraging social media as a platform to reach wider audiences.
Dr Chaudhary joined the NDPSIG executive committee in September 2023.
