This conference is an opportunity to hear about and be inspired by all aspects of working in eating disorders services, and is for:

  • Psychiatrists
  • Foundation year doctors
  • Medical students
  • Allied health professionals

The RCPsych Faculty of Eating Disorders invited authors to submit their poster to their Annual  Conference taking place on Tuesday 12 and Wednesday 13 November 2024 in London.

The call for posters has now closed.

Fees explained

  • The registration fee includes refreshments and lunch
  • The fee you pay relates to your RCPsych membership status
  • Subsidised rate includes those on lower incomes paying a subsidised RCPsych membership rate (maternity or parental leave, working part time or taking a career break) and International RCPsych Members residing in band D and C countries.
  • The allied healthcare professional rate is available for the following: occupational therapists, psychologists, physiotherapists, speech and language therapists etc. Allied Health Professionals may be required to show proof of their status. Other medical professionals, e.g. GPs must select the non-member rate. The Faculty of Eating Disorders also welcomes service users and carers to attend this conference at the allied health rate.   • Medical Students and Foundation Year Doctors can apply for free RCPsych membership, which then gives you access to reduced conference registration fees, amongst other benefits

Event registrations are confirmed when payment is received in full.

Joining instructions are sent approximately 2-3 days in advance.

This event will be live in London, and also livestreamed online via a platform called EventsAir. You can watch live, or on-demand later. Registered participants will receive their link to watch the conference in their joining instructions. Joining instructions will be sent out a week before the conference is due to take place. You will have access to conference recordings for twelve weeks post event.

  • We recommend that you log into the platform in advance of the event to ensure that you are able to access the platform on the day. The recommended browser for EventsAir is Google Chrome, other browsers may not be compatible with the platform.
When you join the conference online you will be able to:

  • view a video of the speaker alongside any slides
  • ask your questions to the speakers and chat with other delegates via the discussion forum

To successfully join the event online you will need:

  • access to a reliable internet connection
  • a PC, laptop, tablet or phone.

The hybrid conference is being delivered from our venue in London, and our exhibition package includes:

  • Exhibition stand = table + 2 chairs, space for banner stand
  • Refreshments and lunch for 2 stand staff each day
  • Wifi access
  • Access to in-person conference sessions and the on-demand content
  • Logo and your weblink/your organisation details added to livestream platform
  • Attendees can log in a few days in advance, watch live sessions, on-demand content, view posters and resources, and meet other attendees online - the platform will stay open for 2 months after the event date
