Event Information
This Grant Writing Retreat is not a conference or training course. It is a dedicated, structured space for individuals who already have a grant idea and are ready to focus on developing a funding application.
The retreat is designed for those who want uninterrupted writing time away from day-to-day distractions, alongside the opportunity to strengthen their proposal through peer discussion and expert advice.
Participants should attend with a grant concept, project idea, or funding application they are actively working on. The retreat will provide:
- Dedicated, protected time to focus on writing
- Opportunities to receive feedback from peers
- Access to an expert panel for advice and guidance
- A supportive environment to refine and strengthen your proposal
- Networking with others involved in grant development and research funding
Please note, you will need to attend both days of the retreat and are expected to stay for the full duration of both days.
Ticket prices
You will be able to select your ticket type when you make your booking.
When you select the yellow booking button, you will be able to register an account if you are not already a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists - you can then book your preferred ticket type.

Use the online booking system to request a payment link - you can share this link with your organisation if they are paying on your behalf.
