Overview
This practical and interactive online course is designed to support candidates in their preparation for the CASC examination. The two-day masterclass focuses on the key techniques and skills required to pass the examination with individualised feedback from experienced examiners and live role players. The masterclass uses small group work, practice CASC stations and vignettes to develop, practice and hone the skills required to perform at any station, irrespective of the content, to best apply your knowledge, experience and clinical skills in the live exam.
Attendance requirements
In order to register for the CASC Masterclass, you must be able to attend the full duration of both days of the masterclass, from 9.00am - 5.30pm on 1 & 2 August 2024. The masterclass will not be recorded.
Programme
The masterclass will take place from 9.00am to 5.30pm on 1 and 2 August. The programme will be shared directly with registered attendees.
Technology requirements
To successfully join the event online you will need;
- Access to a reliable internet connection
- A PC or laptop with camera, microphone and speakers
- Access to Zoom - we recommend having the Zoom app installed to your desktop
Please note that it is a mandatory requirement of attendance that you keep your camera on during the masterclass and contribute verbally to the roleplay scenarios. Please join the masterclass from a private room, ideally with a head-set to respect the privacy of other attendees.
