We are looking for a new Congress Co-Chair to lead and shape the programme and content for our International Congress.
Who are we looking for?
- We are looking for someone who is passionate about bringing the best of psychiatry to the International Congress
- Someone actively engaged in academic work who has a grasp of the topical issues in Psychiatry
- You do not need to have experience of any previous college roles
- A track record in working on large conferences and events would be an advantage but not essential if you have other experience to bring to the role
Key responsibilities
Working alongside another Co-Chair and the Congress Executive, the Congress Co-Chair is responsible for delivering a high quality and balanced congress programme representative of the specialty and those that work within it.
The two Congress Co-Chairs have joint responsibility between them for the content and programme of the International Congress, including chairing and overseeing the Congress Advisory Board. They work closely alongside the College staff team and the Associate Dean for Advanced Learning and are responsible for supporting the College team in making day-to-day decisions which contribute to making the Congress a success.
