Dr Pratima Murthy has served as Director and Senior Professor of Psychiatry at the National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS) in India. She was formerly head of the addiciton treatment services and has played a key role in improving treatment services, training, community engagement and policy formulation in the area.
