Postpartum psychosis

This information is written for anyone who has:

  • a high risk of postpartum psychosis because of previous mental health problems
  • has, or is recovering from, a postpartum psychosis
  • had postpartum psychosis before, and is pregnant again
  • a family history of postpartum psychosis.

It may also be useful to:

  • the partners, family and friends of people above
  • anyone who wants to know more about mental health problems after childbirth.
