Find out about the CCQI's advisory groups and accreditation committees

Each quality network is supported by an Advisory Group and an Accreditation Committee who help to guide the work of the network and maintain consistency.

Our Advisory Groups and Accreditation Committees are made up of professionals, patients and carers who represent key interests and areas of expertise within each network.

Advisory Groups provide strategic advice and support the ongoing development of the network, while Accreditation Committees review evidence from the peer review process and make recommendations about the accreditation status of member services.

“I have really enjoyed my time as Chair of the QNWA Advisory Group (AG).  It has provided a valuable opportunity to work with and learn from specialists in all different areas of general adult inpatient care and, importantly, from experts by experience and carers.  My role as AG Chair has made me address my own clinical practice as an inpatient Consultant Psychiatrist and consider improvements that could be made on the ward on which I work.  I feel honoured and privileged to lead such a motivated and inspiring group of individuals that make up the AG!”
- Declan Hyland, QNWA Advisory Group Chair; Consultant Psychiatrist
