Dr Pauline Turnbull

Dr Pauline Turnbull is Project Director of the National Confidential Inquiry into Suicide and Safety in Mental Health (NCISH), which makes recommendations to improve safety in mental health services.  

Pauline’s particular interest is in driving change in self-harm and suicide prevention by taking evidence-based recommendations directly into practice. Pauline is also leading the set-up of a national data collection of suicide by NHS staff in England.
