Expansion of Advancing Mental Health Equity (AMHE) QI Collaborative

Registration to join the new wave of the AMHE QI collaborative will go live next month.

From 11 March organisations will have the opportunity to apply to take part in the third wave of RCPsych’s Quality Improvement (QI) collaborative. This initiative aims to support:

  • mental health service provider organisation’s board and leaders
  • mental health services
  • cross-organisational teams

to address their local systematic mental health inequalities to implement the NHS England and Improvement Advancing Mental Health Equality Resource and Patient and Carer Race Equality Framework (PCREF) through quality improvement methodology and one to one coaching and mentoring.

The programme will be open to all organisations that provide mental health care (including the NHS, third sector and private providers).

It will deliver bespoke support to organisations using a personalised approach that best suits the mental health inequalities faced by populations in each organisation’s geographical area.

Further information about the new wave of the collaborative will be released in our February bulletin. In the meantime join us for a virtual Q&A session on 14 March 2.30pm-3.15pm and check out the existing collaborative’s work.

The Q&A is an opportunity for senior leaders, local commissioners, NHS, and voluntary sector mental health providers to find out more about the collaborative and what you need to do to take part.

Register for the Q&A session by 5pm on 11 March 2024. If you have any questions, please contact the team at AMHE@rcpsych.ac.uk.
