English Divisions engage with Integrated Care Boards
This year the English Divisions have engaged in a new area of work and started the process of meeting with local NHS Integrated Care boards (ICBs).
This is to explore how the College can collaborate with ICBs in order to advance our shared aims of improving the quality of mental health care for patients and supporting our workforce.
ICBs are the strategic decision-making bodies of place-based Integrated Care Systems (ICS) or Partnerships which bring together all organisations involved in providing care services to a local community.
The Divisions have reached out to the mental health leads of local ICBs so far to arrange introductory meetings to start exploratory conversations to see where we can help each other with current issues and priorities.
