2026 Medical Education Conference registrations are now open

We’re excited to announce that registration is now open for the 2026 Medical Education Conference, taking place at the Royal College of Psychiatrists on 19 February 2026.

This year’s programme promises a dynamic mix of debates, workshops, and lectures, including a keynote address on the future of medical training by Andrew George, Consultant and Coach in Education, Health Sciences, and Ethics.

Highlights include:

  • a session on the state of medical education, co-led by myself and Dr Rosin Haslett, Psychiatry Lead Dean
  • a debate exploring whether higher training is fit for purpose
  • a panel discussion on workforce and planning
  • dedicated sessions for medical students, supporting the next generation of medical educators.
