Dr Shevonne Matheiken

Dr Shevonne Matheiken has just completed her ST4 in Dual General adult and Old age Psychiatry in East London NHS Foundation Trust. She is interested in digital health, transcultural psychiatry, differential attainment, doctors' wellbeing and is passionate about Psychiatry as a speciality.

She is the UK winner of the international JSPN Fellowship 2020, awarded by the Japanese Society of Psychiatry and Neurology, on the topic 'Mental Heath and Work-life balance of Psychiatrists in UK'.

She is keen to facilitate all trainee voices being heard, as a BAME, IMG, LTFT trainee with young children herself, and hopes to play a part in changing things for the better, one conversation at a time.
