Event Information

The OPSIG webinar will take place on Thursday 26 January 2023, 3.00pm - 4.30pm.

Many healthcare staff have reported feeling burnout or suffering from mental health conditions, which can impact workplace performance. The OPSIG is pleased to announce a webinar on this topic which will take place on the 26th January 2023, commencing at 15:00 for 90 minutes.

We are delighted to confirm that speakers will include Dame Clare Gerada, President of the Royal College of General Practitioners and former head of NHS Practitioner Health, as well as Dr Gabrielle Pendlebury, Clinical Director of Onebright Psychiatry and an ex-medicolegal advisor, as well as Drs Elliot Carthy and Bradley Hillier who have expertise in psychoactive substance use and addiction.

The presentations will cover the issue of doctors’ health within the current medicolegal regulatory framework and provide an update on broader trends in psychoactive substance use for healthcare staff.

We very much hope to see you online.

If you have any questions about the webinar, please email sigs@rcpsych.ac.uk.

The event will cost £20 for OPSIG members and £30 for anyone else.
