Core Trainees' Welcome Event Spring 2023

Event Information

We would like to welcome Core Trainees to the college by hosting the Core Trainees' Welcome Event.

This event will provide a chance to welcome Core Trainees to the college community, give an overview of the College's role, discuss the future of training, and give new Core Trainees an opportunity to hear from College officers and members.

Aimed at giving new CT1 trainees a wider understanding of the College and the role we play in training, this event is also open to CT2 and CT3 trainees who may find the updates regarding the curricula and exams helpful. Foundation Doctors and Medical Students who are considering a career in psychiatry are also welcome to attend for more information on psychiatry training.

The programme will be available closer to the event date.

The event is taking place online via Zoom. To take part you will need:  

  • access to a reliable internet connection  
  • a PC, laptop, tablet or phone  
  • Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge browser or Zoom installed on your PC, laptop, tablet or phone  

  • You do not need to have a Zoom account to attend.  

Some users may experience difficulty joining Zoom meetings due to security settings. If this is the case, we suggest you select the option to join via a web browser, rather than the Zoom app. If you cannot join on your computer you can still join on your phone.  Please take a look at this guide on how to join a Zoom meeting.   

It is your responsibility to ensure you have read and understood the guidelines before the event.
