What will this event cover?
We are pleased to announce that the annual spring conference will cover the topic; ‘Neuropsychiatry: an update for Psychiatrists’.
Come and update your knowledge about common neuropsychiatric conditions, frequently encountered in general psychiatric practice. You will learn from experts (a neurologist and two consultant neuropsychiatrists) about the diagnoses and management of alcohol dementia, functional neurological disorders and common movement disorders.
Speakers
We are delighted to announce the following speakers:
Professor Mark Edwards: Professor of Neurology and Interface Disorders at Kings College London and Honorary Consultant Neurologist at The Maudsley and Kings College Hospitals.
Tics, Tremors and Dystonia – a Neurologist’s Perspective
Dr Suresh Komati: Consultant Neuropsychiatrist in a regional tertiary care specialist Neuropsychiatry service and Clinical Lead for a Specialist Huntington’s service in Northeast England.
Alcohol Related Brain Damage (ARBD) – Fact or Fiction?
Professor Alan Carson: Consultant Neuropsychiatrist at Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh and Honorary Professor in Neuropsychiatry based in Clinical Brain Science at the University of Edinburgh.
