'New beginnings' North West Autumn Conference 2023

Event Information

The recent RCPsych International Congress saw a "changing of the guard", with Dr Lade Smith CBE starting her term as the new President of the College. But what are Dr Smith's priorities in the role? This conference will provide a golden opportunity for Members of the North West Division to ask questions directly to the new President.

In taking up office, Dr Smith has appointed Presidential Leads to spearhead the College's work in various areas, including wellbeing and retention, global mental health strategy, compassionate and relational care and equity and equality.  Several of the appointed Presidential Leads will provide a summary of their priorities at this conference.

Finally, this conference will provide an opportunity to gain insight into how we should recognise and value the work of our SAS doctors and what we can do to maintain positive working relationships with them.
