Speakers
Dr Suhana Ahmed
Clinical Director Older People’s Mental health services – West London NHS Trust, Chair – London Division
Dr Ahmed is currently Clinical Director of Older Persons services at West London NHS Trust. She has been Director of Medical Education at South West London and St George’s (SWLSTG) Mental Health Trust having completed her training there and working as an Old Age and Adult Consultant Psychiatrist.
She is heavily involved with the Royal College of Psychiatrists and is currently Chair of the London Division, Deputy Chair of the Leadership and Management Committee and an executive member of Old Age Faculty. She was also co-host of Mind Masters at International Congress in 2022.
She is interested in training, flexible working and supporting leadership and career progression in working parents. She has been a fellow with the award-winning organisation Leadersplus, has contributed to their podcast series and now runs a mental health workshop for their programme.
She is a mummy to a ten-year-old boy and loves cats, reading and cake.
Dr Thomas Dixon
Consultant Psychiatrist
I am a Consultant Psychiatrist working for an older adults community team in South West London and St George’s Mental Health Trust, having completed training across the other South London trusts. I have an interest in digital solutions and was previously Associate Chief Clinical Information Officer in my trust before life got in the way.
I am forever juggling a busy work life with being a good enough parent. To achieve this ambition I seek to be as efficient as possible and stand firm in my eternal battle against procrastination and distraction.

FAQs
Do I need to book the full webinar series, or can I book each webinar individually?
Each session is available to book as an individual webinar. If you book and pay for an individual webinar you will receive a link to watch this live and will receive the recording for this one session. We also have the option to book the full series which will give you access to all four individual webinars and the recordings with a 10% discount.
Will all four webinar episodes will be available on 6 March?
No. Only session one will run on 6 March. The next two episodes will run on two separate dates in April and October.
What are the dates and topics for each webinar session?

How long will each session recording be available to watch on demand?
All recordings will be available to watch on-demand until 4 December 2024.
I've booked and paid for the full series but one or more sessions have already passed. How do I gain access to the recordings?
Once you have booked the full series, please email division.events@rcpsych.ac.uk and we will send you the links to access the recordings of any previous sessions.
Will the recording be available as soon as the session is finished?
No. The recordings are distributed via email with a specific link and passcode. These are emailed out within 1 week of the event. Please do not schedule CPD time expecting to receive the recording link the same day.
I booked and paid for one individual session but would now like to book for the remaining two. Do I need to pay for each individually or am I entitled to a discount?
We can offer you a discounted rate if you would like to purchase additional masterclass sessions. Please contact division.events@rcpsych.ac.uk and we can arrange this for you.
If I book all three sessions, will I receive a certificate for each session I attend, or will this be sent once all four sessions have taken place?
You will receive an individual certificate for each session after it has taken place. Certificates are sent out via email within two weeks of the event date. Please ensure the email address linked to your membership account is up to date otherwise you may not receive it.
Can I pay to gain access to the recording of an individual session I missed?
No. We only offer retrospective bookings for the full series.
Can't attend on the day?
Please kindly note, all sessions will be recorded. The recordings are distributed via email with a specific link and passcode. These are emailed out within 1 week of the event. Please do not schedule CPD time expecting to receive the recording link the same day as the live event.
We would encourage those who register to attend on the day of the event, should they wish to ask questions to our speakers.
All recordings are sent out to delegates via the email address used at the time of registering. If you are unsure whether your email address is up to date, please update this via your membership account. We will not confirm this with you and it is your responsibility to make sure it is correct.
The recording will be available to watch on-demand until 4 December 2024.
