Quality Improvement
The National Audit of Eating Disorders (NAED) has launched its Quality Improvement (QI) network to support teams in improving the identification, management, and overall quality of care for people with eating disorders.
The network is led by QI Expert Maureen McGeorge and QI Coach Sadhbh Fitzgerald, with support from the NAED project team.
Registered audit teams will be supported in project design and QI methods through training workshops and webinars, linked with NAED's healthcare improvement goals. On this page, you can find information and resources related to the NAED QI Network.
QI Launch Event
We launched the NAED Quality Improvement (QI) Network on 20 November 2025, with over 100 attendees from services across England.
The event provided more information about the new QI network, and covered the data released in the service mapping report, and what to expect in the following audit year.
Ongoing QI Support
From 2026, the NAED QI Network will provide continuing support to participating services, including: shared learning webinars led by our QI Expert and QI Coach, monthly drop-in clinics offering tailored guidance and support, Q&A sessions and peer discussion spaces to exchange learning and insights
A dedicated QI learning hub on the RCPsych website will also provide tools, guidance and examples of improvement in practice. Additional QI materials will be available via the online data dashboard once live.
