Setting up and evaluating an outpatient CBT group: Face-to-face vs. digital

Hosted by QED, the Wiltshire Community Eating Disorder Service talk about their experiences of setting up an outpatient CBT guided self-help group. They talk through the rationale for starting the group in 2019, what the group looks like, and present outcome data and client feedback. They also discuss the process of transitioning this group to a digital platform, further outcome data and feedback from this group and share their personal reflections.

COVID-19: how can services support carers of people with eating disorders?

Two of the College’s carer representatives; Veronica Kamerling and Julie Salt, present on their experiences during COVID-19, and how services can support carers now and in the future, with an opportunity to ask questions during a Q&A session.

Veronica has been a QED carer representative for a number of years, and is a member of the network’s Advisory Group and Accreditation Committee, and Julie has been a carer representative on the QED and Working Age networks and is also on the eating disorder QI committee.
