We have now launched our new and improved online learning platform, the RCPsych eLearning Hub

An evolution of our older platforms, CPD Online (CPDO) and Trainees Online (TrOn), the new site will be the home of College eLearning resources for all members.

CPD Online has launched first on the Hub, rebranded as CPD eLearning. CPD Online was first developed in 2006 to provide mental health professionals with a flexible, interactive way of keeping up to date with progress in mental health across a vast range of topics.

Over the last 15 years, CPD Online has published more than 200 learning modules and 150 podcasts, spanning the breadth and depth of international psychiatry, as well as some other eLearning projects based around these. Learners can earn CPD points towards their annual requirements by completing these modules and podcasts.

CPD Online has also developed a wide subscription base over this period, covering individuals and institutional access through Trusts, as well as international subscribers, such as the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP).

The new platform will feature current content and see releases of new resources, as well as continuing CPD Online’s module updates programme to ensure content is kept up to date. The cross-site search is where you can easily find content to suit your interests, your available time, or CPD needs.

College Dean, Professor Subodh Dave commented on the launch:

“It will allow us to bring you new and exciting content, and help us to help you to keep your learning up to date.”

Trainees Online (TrOn), the College’s online learning resource supporting trainee psychiatrists preparing for MRCPsych Paper A, will also move to the new site this autumn, followed by Section 12(2) and Approved Clinician Induction and Refresher training.

Migrating all of our online resources to the new eLearning Hub is in line with the College’s aim to deliver excellent learning to our members and mental health professionals.  Users with access via their Trust or institution will also gain access this autumn in our second phase of launch.
