Programme
Historical, Scientific and Clinical Perspectives on Complex PTSD and other ICD-11 Trauma Related Disorders, an online College meeting taking place on Friday, 28th January 2022, will offer a rich mix of history, science, pedagogical and clinical material, closing with a plenary discussion.
Professor Andrew Moskowitz, editor of both editions of Psychosis, Trauma and Dissociation, will set a historical context, Dr Simone Reinders, well known to readers of the BJPsych, will discuss her groundbreaking neuro-imaging work relating to dissociation, while three Experts by Experience will share from their experience as patients to contribute to thinking during the day about the implications of ICD-11. As College members, Dr Nuri Gené-Cos will present clinical material relating to her experience as clinical lead of a national specialist clinic, while Dr Gordon Barclay, again with a clinical focus, will consider CMHT presentations from an ICD-11 perspective.
