We are delighted to announce Dr Ty Glover will be speaking at this online webinar.

Dr Ty Glover, trained for 10 years in Anaesthesia, Medicine and Intensive Care before diverting into Psychiatry via a brief sojourn in GP.  Specialised in inpatient management of Anorexia nervosa for over 20 years. H as developed extensive experience in providing medicolegal evidence in the CoP in relation to complex matters of capacity and best interests.

Dr Glover will give a review of the expected complications of severe malnutrition and a review of the recently produced guidelines in relation to the emergency management of eating disorder patients.

Webinar Chair

Dr Nick Wolstenholme has been working a Consultant Psychiatrist in adult eating disorders for over three and a half years, working in Stockton-on-Tees for Tees Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust in a community and day service. 

Nick has an interest in teaching medical students and trainees, and carrying out research into the treatment of anorexia nervosa using virtual reality technology.  He is also involved in the development of the provider collaborative for the Northern Centre for Eating Disorders.
