Vacancies in the Trent Division
We are looking to appoint enthusiastic and experienced consultants and SAS psychiatrists to join the Trent Division Executive Committee.

Regional Advisors are senior members of the College. They represent the College on all matters relating to postgraduate education and continuing professional development in psychiatry. They are the College’s link with regional postgraduate Deans and Heads of School of Psychiatry concerning issues relating to postgraduate psychiatric education.
Term of office: 5 years
We are looking to recruit several Regional Speciality Representatives across a number of areas:
- Rehabilitation and Social Psychiatry
- Academic Psychiatry Regional Specialty Rep
Regional Specialty Representatives are appointed locally to support Regional Advisors and Deputy Regional Advisors, by providing expert advice on their psychiatric subspecialty.
The recommended term is five years, though this can vary depending on circumstances. The roles can also be taken up as a shared role with another colleague, or alongside any other existing College role.
Term of office
Initially the role will be co-opted to until the next elections in spring 2027.
Upon being elected, the term is Four years and a minimum of one PA per fortnight (including meetings).
Job purpose
- To ensure sound financial management of Devolved Nation or Division funds.
- To act on behalf of the College Treasurer
