RCPsych Awards 2024 – nominations now open

Nominations open today for the 2024 RCPsych Awards – which mark the highest level of achievement in psychiatry.

Have you recently been impressed by the work of a colleague or mentor? Or perhaps you've watched a trainee blossom? Maybe you know of, or work in, an outstanding mental health team?

We need your help in finding our most dedicated members for the 2024 RCPsych Awards – by telling us about the colleagues, mentors, trainees and teams who have amazed you over the past year!

The 2024 awards have 18 categories, including individual awards for psychiatrists of all grades and team awards to recognise the work being done by teams in mental health care.

The categories include an award for PsychSocs, a separate award for early career Academic Researchers, and a brand-new category for Psychiatric International Medical Graduate (IMG) Champion.

We want to make sure our awards are truly reflective of the breadth, diversity and talent of our membership and are encouraging entrants from right across the UK, in all of our categories. Many categories this year are also open to international nominees.

We want to hear about the people who have inspired you, with stories of dedication and commitment. We’re really looking forward to receiving your entries.

The closing date for entries is 5pm on 31 May 2024.

We’ll announce the shortlists in the summer and present the winners at the RCPsych Awards Ceremony on 14 November.
