Complete the Outcomes survey
As psychiatrists we all want the best outcomes for our patients, but how do we know if these have been achieved?
The College sees measuring outcomes as crucial to delivering high quality care for our patients. Done well this could support better patient care, service improvement and research. Done badly it risks simply adding to our administrative burden.
The Royal College of Psychiatrists Outcomes Working Group wants to improve how outcomes are measured. To help us do this, we have developed a short survey which will take you just 5-10 minutes to complete.
We want your views on outcome measures, and to understand what assists and hinders you in using them. We also want to know if there are additional resources you need.
This will enable the College to advocate for you and better support psychiatrists to measure outcomes.
The College recently published the report Outcome measures in psychiatry, bringing together the position of every College Faculty. We welcome any views you have on this too, so that we can ensure any further iteration of this document is as useful as possible.
Thank you for your time.
