    Journals and library services - a member benefit

    As a member you receive free access to a wide range of journal-related content and information services.

    Library and Archives

    The College Library is designed to support members in their day to day practise and with any research needs.

    • We provide access to a wide range of online resources via RCPsych OpenAthens accounts. You can access online journals, ebooks and databases including Medline and Embase.
    • Library staff are also very happy to provide research assistance, including one-to-one training, literature searching, and help with systematic reviews. We can also set members up on research software such as Rayyan.
    • We also have a large collection of books available to borrow, which are usually posted to members for free.

    Journals 

    Members are entitled to:

    • All members get access to the College's BJPsych Journals app, with access to first view, latest issues, podcasts and videos
    • All members get free online access to the College's journals via Cambridge Core using your RCPsych login
    • Members and Associates have the option to opt-in for two print copies out of BJPsych, BJPsych Bulletin and BJPsych Advances. PMPT’s can subscribe for a fee directly through Cambridge University Press Customer Services team via phone (+44 [0]1223326070) or email.
    • All members have access to the Australasian Psychiatry journal
    • All members have access to our monthly newsletter curated content, discounts and the latest publishing news
    • All members receive a 30% discount on RCPsych Books
