Overview of the role

We are looking for a new Co-Chair to lead and shape the programme and content for our International Congress. Working alongside another Co-Chair and the Congress Executive, the Congress Co-Chair is responsible for delivering a high-quality and balanced congress programme representative of the specialty and those that work within it. If you are passionate about bringing the best of psychiatry to the International Congress programme and have a track record in working on successful large conferences and events, we’d love to hear from you.

Key responsibilities

The two Congress Co-Chairs have joint responsible between them for the content and programme of International Congress including chairing and overseeing the Congress Advisory Board. They work closely alongside the College staff team and the Associate Dean for Advanced Learning and Conferences and be responsible for supporting the College team in making day-to-day decisions which contribute to making the Congress a success.

Interview date: Tuesday 28 November (Morning) online via Microsoft Teams/Zoom

Interviews are likely to be around 30 minutes and it is unlikely that we would be able to offer an alternative date.

The successful candidate will be invited to attend the online Congress Advisory Board Meeting on Wednesday 6 December from 1.30pm-3pm and attendance would be welcomed.
