The Royal College of Psychiatrists is seeking 1 Patient Representative and 1 Carer Representative to join the Working Together Oversight Group as Workers.  The successful applicants will have recent lived experience of mental health services or caring for someone with mental illness.

The Patient Representative and the Carer Representative will be an integral member of the committee working with the Chief Executive and clinical and staff leads, to engage workers, College committees and staff in the roll out of the worker model and act as a voice for newly appointed workers of the College.

The Oversight Group meets every two months, currently virtually, to discuss a range of patient and carer issues relating to the rollout of the new model. 

The Patient Representative and the Carer Representative are expected to attend and contribute to the meetings and collaborate with other members of the group to complete pieces of work, such as input into College papers and policies relating to workers, patients, and carers.
