What will this event cover?
This event was originally scheduled to take place in Manchester on Friday 9 September. However, due to the sad passing of Her Majesty The Queen, the College took the decision to cancel this event.
We are delighted to announce we have rescheduled this event for Friday 4 November and will instead host it as an online, half day event. Talks and topics included in the day are:
- Welcome to the HENW School of Psychiatry with Natalie Dawson
- An outline of the New Core Training Cirriculum with Dr Alex Bailey
- What can the RCPsych North West Division do for you as a Core Trainee? with Division Chair, Dr Nish Babu Mathew
- Core Training Curriculum changes in Addiction Psychiatry with Dr Patrick Horgan
- Core Training as an International Medical Graduate, a personal experience with Dr Yasmine Elagamy
- Maintaining your wellbeing as a Core Trainee and working LTFT with Dr Hannah Cappleman
- Meet your new North West PTC Representatives!
How to book?
This event is free to attend and you can book by emailing The North West Team or by calling 0208 6184196.
Technology requirements
This event will be virtual and will be hosted via Zoom.
You will be sent a Zoom link to join via email the day before the event takes place. Links are not sent out before then as they get lost. Please ensure your email address is up to date at the time of booking.
To take part you will need:
- Access to a reliable internet connection
- A PC, laptop, tablet or phone
- Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox or Apple Safari browser, or Zoom installed on your PC, laptop, tablet or phone
Some users may experience difficulty joining Zoom meetings due to security settings. If this is the case, we suggest you select the option to join via a web browser, rather than the Zoom app. If you cannot join on your computer, you can still join on your phone.
