Overview

This session will focus on presenting the recent cutting-edge evidence pertaining to Bipolar Disorder, Depression and Schizophrenia.

It will cover all aspects, including aetiology and treatments, from biological, psychological and social perspectives. 

It will also cover some recent myths regarding the existing evidence base. 

The aim of this session will be to update colleagues as to recent developments in these clinical areas, and foster discussion.

 

This session aims to:

  • Understand recent evidence pertaining to the aetiology of bipolar disorder, depression and schizophrenia
  • Understand recent developments in the treatment of bipolar disorder, depression and schizophrenia.
  • This will cover biological, psychological and social treatments
