Advancing Mental Health Equity (AMHE) Collaborative expansion – Q&A webinar

Find out how we’ve improved the offer for the new wave of the AMHE Quality Improvement (QI) collaborative, aimed at supporting mental health service provider organisations to respond to the needs of their population.

Registration opens on 11 March 2024 for mental health provider organisations to take part in the third wave of the RCPsych’s NCCMH QI collaborative.

How does the AMHE collaborative help organisations?

The AMHE collaborative aims to support mental health service provider organisations to address their local systematic mental health inequalities. The collaborative will also help them to implement the NHS England and Improvement Advancing Mental Health Equality Resource and Patient and Carer Race Equality Framework (PCREF) through quality improvement (QI) methodology and 1:1 coaching and mentoring.

The programme will be open to all organisations that provide mental health care (including NHS, third sector and private providers). It will deliver bespoke support to organisations using a personalised approach to meet the needs of an identified population in each organisation’s geographical area.

What’s different about Wave 3 of the collaborative?

Our Wave 3 offer is modular, targeting three levels of the organisation. We will help frontline teams use QI techniques, empower middle managers to connect across the organisation and support and develop leaders to nurture QI throughout your organisation. You will be working with your local communities to understand how to make local services work better for them and we will help facilitate this using a personalised approach.

How can I find out more?

We are hosting a virtual Q&A webinar on 14 March 2.30-3.15pm. The Q&A is an opportunity for senior leaders, local commissioners, NHS, and voluntary sector mental health providers to find out more about the collaborative and what you need to do to take part. To speak to one of the team, email amhe@rcpsych.ac.uk.
