Last call to join the Equity Champion Network
The College has been at the forefront of work to challenge inequality in mental healthcare. Initiatives such as Advancing Mental Health Equity, which is providing the competency framework now being used by NHS England in delivery of the Patient Carer and Race Equality Framework (PCREF) is just one example of this.
We’re committed to continuing this great work, leading systematic change that will improve access, experience and outcomes for our patients; improve recruitment and retention of our workforce; and enable our members and colleagues to thrive in their workplaces. This means embedding equity in all that we do.
To support this, during 2024 we have been recruiting individuals with a passion for helping us drive change to our UK-wide Equity Champion Network.
Our Equity Champion Network will work with devolved nations, divisions and faculties to help deliver the College’s ‘Fairness for All’ strategy, acting as ambassadors to make equity, diversity and inclusion everyone’s business.
