Dr Priyadarshini Sur

Dr Priyadarshini Sur is an ST5 resident doctor in General Adult Psychiatry in Thames Valley and serves as the PRDC representative for the South East Division. Her engagement with the College began during her time as a Presidential Scholar, where she gained valuable insight into the College’s work, and this piqued her interest in finding other ways in which she could get involved or contribute, leading to the PRDC representative role.
In her role as PRDC representative, Priya is committed to amplifying the voices of psychiatry resident doctors and advocating for their wellbeing. She is particularly focused on identifying key challenges affecting resident doctor wellbeing and working collaboratively with colleagues to improve job satisfaction and reduce burnout.
Priya is passionate about fostering a supportive, inclusive, and empowering environment for all resident doctors, and is dedicated to ensuring their perspectives are represented in shaping the future of psychiatric training.
