Board of Trustees Election FAQs
Any Member or Specialist Associate of the College can stand for election.
The timetable for 2023 elections is as follows:

Information you'll need to provide
- The names, email addresses and membership numbers of your proposer and seconder, they must be Members or Specialist Associates.
- A supporting statement of 200 words.
- You'll also be asked to confirm your good standing with your country's medical council and with regard to College membership fees.
Submitting your nomination
Nominations must be submitted through the Civica Election Services nomination platform.
You can save your nomination and return to it at a later date. If you forget to complete, we'll send you a reminder when the deadline is approaching.
Once you've finished your nomination you can submit it and within 24 hours you'll receive email confirmation of your submission.
