Dr Kate Lovett
Psychiatrists make a critical difference to people’s lives, but to provide quality services, we need sufficient resources and workforce.
As Dean I proved change is possible.
I would be honoured to take the agenda forward as President, putting people first, setting standards, promoting prevention and getting funding to the frontline.

Professor Russell Razzaque
The role of Psychiatrist has been almost reduced to a tick-box exercise. If elected President, I’d strive daily to rebuild our roles, extend our influence and recommit to our original values.
I’d focus relentlessly on increasing investment in services and deepening the person-centred, compassionate care that our patients truly deserve.

Dr Lade Smith CBE
As President, I will negotiate, influence and advocate for psychiatrists. My priorities:
- Nurturing and Supporting Psychiatrists: to retain and strengthen our workforce
- Addressing the Treatment Gap: fight for resources to deliver therapeutic care
- Fairness for all: tackling inequality for patients and staff
