Dr Sarah Parry
Presidential Scholar for Global Mental Health
Sarah Parry is an ST6 in general and older adult psychiatry currently working in Wessex deanery after having recently transferred from South London. She has a longstanding interest in global mental health and learning from cross-cultural contexts. She has experience in global mental health and stigma research and spent a year working in Cambodia prior to starting her core psychiatry training in London.
She is using her time as Presidential Scholar for Global Mental Health working with the RCPsych International Team on the Ghana Global Health Workforce Programme. This is an international collaboration between Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons' Faculty of Psychiatry, Royal College of Psychiatrists and Tropical Health Education Trust, aiming to enhance the development of subspeciality psychiatry expertise in Ghana.
