How we use and protect data
Our online privacy notice provides detailed information about when and why we collect personal information and how we use it.The National Clinical Audit of Psychosis (NCAP) uses routinely collected data (for example, the Mental Health Services Data Set (MHSDS) in England), which are securely processed and stored by the Royal College of Psychiatrists. Approved users can access and review relevant data through a secure Power BI dashboard hosted by the College. Appropriate governance arrangements are in place to ensure accountability, lawful processing, GDPR transparency, protection of individual rights, and robust data security and breach management processes.
NCAP is committed to reduce the burden of data collection for EIP services. Please see our data burden reduction strategy for more detail.
