Culture of Care Programme Manager

The roles

Here at the National Collaborating Centre for Mental Health (NCCMH), we co-produce and develop evidence-based guidance, standards, workforce competences and quality improvement initiatives to enable the delivery of high-quality, equitable, mental health care.

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Project or Programme Manager to join our friendly team, to manage a high-profile programme to improve the culture of care in inpatient mental health services in England, working within a multidisciplinary technical team that includes people with Lived Experience, quality improvement coaches, senior clinicians, system leaders, editors, researchers and directors.

You will be used to working under pressure to tight deadlines, with proven programme management skills and experience of working with a wide variety of (preferably healthcare) professionals, including experts by experience.

We are looking for someone who is committed to co-production, equity and sustainability in the way that they work, as well as an enthusiasm for learning.

This is a complex programme with many stakeholders, and we expect the postholder to oversee the programme management, including senior stakeholders and commissioners at NHS England.
