BJPsych Journals app: coming soon

An exciting new mobile app featuring content from across the College's BJPsych journals portfolio and exclusive to RCPsych members will be launched at the upcoming International Congress in July.

RCPsych Journals app

The app will feature all five journals: The British Journal of Psychiatry, BJPsych Advances, BJPsych Bulletin, BJPsych International, BJPsych Open. It will allow RCPsych members to access these essential resources anywhere, including offline.

The app will be available on both Apple and Android devices, and its interface aims to capture the experience of browsing a print copy on-the-go, but it also integrates some of the journals' additional online content, including author videos and podcasts.

Key features include:

  • All five journals readily available in one place with access to at least the last 12 months’ worth of issues
  • Search functionality across the whole portfolio
  • Save-for-later feature for reading content offline
  • Podcasts and videos accessible within the app
  • Notifications for when new issues are published

Online access to the whole journal portfolio remains included in your membership.

However, effective from January this year, members have had to inform the College through your RCPsych website member account if you would like to also receive any print copies of the journals.

Members can review their print preferences at any time in the members' area of our website.

Members will access the app using the same login details as the RCPsych website, so keep these on hand for the launch.
