Help us create a snapshot of psychiatry in 2026
As part of our celebration of 100 years since receiving a Royal Charter, we would like to record a snapshot of what psychiatry is like in 2026. To do this, we need your help.
The College is planning to create an archive of the experiences of its members on our Royal Charter centenary, 13 March 2026. Our patient and carer representatives will also be invited to share their valuable contributions, as will the staff team. Together, all the entries will be available to future researchers and will provide a fascinating snapshot into the mental health space in 2026.
To get involved you’ll need to pick a day during the week 9-13 March and record your day – in whatever form you choose – journal entries, selfies, vlogs and other submissions are all welcome.
Keep an eye out for an email on Monday 9 March with more information, and the link to share your submission during that week.
We know our members do amazing work often in difficult circumstances and we want future generations to know that too.
We hope you feel able to contribute to this important future archive!
