Our fourth edition of standards have recently been published to support the quality improvement of veteran mental health services in the UK. They were developed from recommendations in key literature, research and in consultation with a range of stakeholders.
Care has been taken to ensure that the development of these standards has taken into consideration a wide range of sources, including research, policies, NICE guidelines and the views of professionals working in veteran mental health services.
We are pleased to share our fifth aggregated report for the Quality Network for Veterans Mental Health services (QNVMHS) which collates data gathered from peer review visits of veterans mental health services. This year's report looks at survey data rather than peer-review assessments. It considers three key perspectives: veterans, staff and families. With this feedback we have been able to put together the most common themes from the survey data to showcase the great work that is being done within veteran mental health services, as well as some suggested improvements that have been informed from the same. | ![]() |
We invite members of staff, veterans from veterans mental health services, family and friends, and external stakeholders to submit an article for the Quality Network’s newsletter.
