Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

CPD is a key contribution to promoting life-long learning, at its core, CPD requires psychiatrists to maintain, develop and remedy any deficits in the knowledge and skills relevant to their professional work.

CPD participation is central to maintaining standards within clinical governance and is likely to have a key role in revalidation.

The College considers that individual psychiatrists should now preplan their CPD activities to ensure relevance to the work that they do.

This site offers interactive learning modules on a variety of topics to help you and keep you up to date with new research and best practice guidelines in Psychiatry as well as gaining CPD credits.
