Reminder to opt in for your BJPsych Journals print issues in 2024

In 2023 the subscription model for the journals was changed to an opt-in model. This change means that members need to tell the College, for each year of their membership, if they want to continue receiving any print copies.

RCPsych Members, Fellows, Specialist Associates, Affiliates and International Associates will need to let us know of their chosen print copies from now for next year.

Members can select their chosen copies from the RCPsych Members dashboard for 2024 print journals. All journals are also available online via the BJPsych Journals app.

The BJPsych Journals app features include:

  • searching through a backlist of articles
  • saving articles and issues
  • downloading for offline access
  • listening to podcasts
  • watching videos
  • bookmarking content
  • sharing articles and digital content outside of the app.

Download the BJPsych Journals app and enjoy more content online. The journals can also be accessed online via Cambridge Core single sign-on, using your membership login.

If you would like to receive more than the two copies included in your membership, then that option is available for an additional charge of £50 per journal per year via Cambridge University Press, our publishing partner.

Other grades of membership

Pre-Membership Psychiatric Trainees continue to have online access to all the College journals included in their membership fee and access to the BJPsych Journals app. Printed copies are now available via an additional heavily discounted subscription via Cambridge University Press, our publishing partner.

Student Associates and Foundation Doctor Associates continue to have online access to all College Journals via single sign-on and access to the BJPsych Journals app included in their membership.
