We will have a speaker preview room on site which you are welcome to use to work on your presentation should you wish to. Please make sure you visit the speaker preview room at least two hours before the start of your session. Our technicians will assist you to ensure the presentations are running correctly and any videos are embedded appropriately.
Please remember that time keeping is critical.
It is important that all sessions start on time, even if the audience members are still arriving. If it’s not possible to start your session on time, please make sure it finishes on time regardless.
Typically each session will be 75 minutes in length. This will allow for 20 minutes for each speaker followed by 15 minutes Q&A. Your session organiser may have decided on different timings so please check with them before preparing your talk.
Attendees very much value the opportunity to ask questions to our presenters so please ensure you leave ample time at the end of the session.
This year for Q&A we will be using the Congress app, which will provide an interactive platform to collect questions from audience members. There will be a screen available for you in your session for you to view the questions. There will also be a room manager in the room to assist you in getting the Q&A set up.
Recordings
We will be recording all sessions from the Congress this year, where you have given us permission to do so. The recordings will be available to purchase for 6 months following the Congress. Only paying delegates will have access to this and your presentation will not be shared further.
If you do not wish for your presentation to be recorded please ensure you notify us through the speaker form before the 28 March 2024.
Required information
Don’t forget to complete the necessary speaker form by the 28 March 2024 to confirm your presentation at the Congress this year! And remember the deadline for any changes to the programme is 26 April 2024.
Travel and accommodation
As we have done over the last few years, we will be measuring the sustainable impact of the Congress this year and we need your help! We strongly encourage that travel is booked as sustainably as possible, travelling either by rail or road rather than flights if travelling within the UK.
The EICC has teamed up with You.Smart.Thing so you can easily plan your journey to the venue in the most sustainable way possible.
